There’s a Formatter for That!
We will take a look at all the Formatters Apple offers nowadays. We’ll start with the well-known Date- and NumberFormatters and go through some of the more obscure ones like DateComponentsFormatter, ByteCounter, MeasurementsFormatter and PersonNameComponentsFormatter. We’ll see what the formatters can and can’t format and what their output looks like in different languages and locales to demonstrate why they are necessary.
