Join us for our June meetup at MOIA.

The schedule:

19:00 - Doors open
We will open the doors for soft drinks & beer & food.

19:30 - Welcome Round & Announcements

19:45 - “Growing an App, a Team and an Architecture” by Killian Haack & Stephan Jätzold
Like many projects, the MOIA Passenger App started with the MVC architecture. Once the team started to get bigger we where looking for an architecture to support us better over the long term. A shared ruleset everybody understands and agrees to. But also one that evolves continually with the team and the requirements. We’ll take you on a journey from the beginnings of our App to where we are now to share how we arrived at our current Clean Architecture and where we think we’ll go from here.

20:25 - Short Break

20:40 - “What if Your Designers Want a Baseline Grid?” by Tammo Freese
Some designers like to use a baseline grid: They align the baselines of all texts to a fixed grid. That is not the default on iOS though. Let‘s see how we can convince UIKit to align on a baseline grid, even in apps that support Dynamic Text for accessibility.

21:20 - Get together.
Time to have some discussions about the talks, current topics in the Cocoa world or anything else, really. And grab some more drinks.

See you there!
