The field of developer relations has seen a rise in the past years. It comes in many names and form factors. Developer Relations Engineer, Developer Advocate, Developer Experience Engineer - but what are those, really? Do you really just get paid for creating Youtube videos or is there more to it? We will talk about the variations, the goals, and the responsibilities that this profession comes with. Also, we will talk about who is well suited for this kind of work and what might help you land your first job there.

About Stefan: Developer Advocate at Stream, mostly doing iOS. Previously worked as a web, cloud, and mobile developer. http://M.Sc. in Computer science with a focus on ML and AI. Master at starting side projects. Likes all kinds of technologies and sports. Legally certified to make Dad jokes.
